Carol A. Truluck received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Albertus Magnus College and a Master of Science degree from Southern CT State University. The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. conferred the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) on Ms. Truluck in 1988.
Ms. Truluck has worked in the financial services industry as a Registered Representative since 1976 when she began her career with Waddell & Reed, Inc.In 1984 Carol opened her own practice, Financial Strategies Group, when she became affiliated with Titan Value Equities as a Branch Manager. For her performance Titan awarded Ms. Truluck membership in their Circle of Champions. When Titan was bought out by Mutual Service Corporation, Carol continued as Branch Manager and achieved the level of Presidents Club for outstanding client service.
Since the beginning of her career Ms. Truluck has focused on retirement planning and, with her previous background in teaching, she assembled and presented financial planning seminars at several major companies including United Technologies Corporation, Southern New England Telephone/AT&T, United Illuminating, and Schick/Pfizer.Additionally Ms. Truluck taught classes on retirement and financial planning at several high schools and Albertus Magnus College.
Ms. Truluck has been a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), since the mid 80’s and has served as President of the Greater New Haven Chapter where under her leadership, the Chapter was presented the Award of Excellence for Outstanding Achievement for Most Improved Chapter.
Ms. Truluck resides in Cheshire where she is active in community affairs and has served on the Beautification Committee. Carol has 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
